Yep, that makes me happy.
Plus there's frozen strawberries, raspberries, applesauce, etc...
However, ours didn't come with all this stuff in it that this picture shows. I'm a little bummed about that.
The first thing I'm putting in here is a quarter of beef from my nephew.

ReplyDeleteYou know if you want frozen strawberries, raspberries, applesauce, etc, someone has to do all the freezing. Maybe you should be a good husband and learn how so that Heidi can concentrate on her studies. *grin*

I'm an engineer who grew up with a mother and sisters who all freeze vast quantities of various food items. While it has been awhile since I've partaken in "putting up corn**", I still maintain a healthy appreciation for the amount of work that went into it.
ReplyDeleteHowever, it also seemed to have a strong element of social bonding involved, which made for a good time.
