Rainbows

The first rainbow was God's promise to Noah to never create such a flood again. God's word is chuck full of "rainbows" for us today:...All things work together for good...to be conformed to the image of His Son...

...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee...

...My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...

...And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus...

...But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil...
Have you ever noticed how the vast majority of the promises in the New Testament point to Christ's abilities? And yet we, as humans, have this tendency to think that it's somehow about us and what we can do.

It's not.

It's about Christ and what He can do.
