"We are all pencils in the hand of God"
---
Mother Teresa
Somedays I really feel like a pencil.
If Life's a journey, then there must be a destination. Where are you headed?
Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

meaning you feel empowered or humbled or humbly empowered??
The point of the post isn't to necessarily communicate how I feel, but rather to get the reader to think of all the ways I could mean what I wrote. Then think about times when you've felt those ways. Which way is the most Biblical? Etc...
I feel like a pencil because by myself I can do nothing, but in the hands of God He can create beatiful pictures, write wonderful stories etc.
Aaron: I agree. By ourselves we quickly become dull without a sharpener. We're pretty much worthless pieces of wood and graphite, and without Him to pick us up and do something with us, we'd spend our entire lives laying down slowly rotting.
more like a tool...
Jake: "...relatively powerless..." I like that. Not that we can do "nothing" on our own, but relatively...Us relative to God...He's incomprehensibly greater, holier, mightier, Godlier (is that a word?)...
I AM that I AM...
Although that would probably have a better end result than "chewing smoking tobacco"............
