He Came to a World at War: O King of Nations

If Life's a journey, then there must be a destination. Where are you headed?
Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Hey Luke,
Your post seems a little sad! Like maybe you are coming off the holiday high and entering the winter blaaahhsss. No sun, bitter cold, dark when you leave for work, dark when you get home...definitely a bummer!
Isn't it funny how a time of family and celebrating Jesus can make a person feel really lonely? Maybe that's just me reading into your post, but maybe there's a bit of truth there. Anyway, here's a verse that I have found recently (like yesterday) and thought it was rather fitting for the blah times.
Isaiah 40:28 - Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the EVERLASTING GOD, THE LORD, THE CREATOR of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary: there is no searching of his understanding.
Pretty cool verse. For some reason it touched my heart and hopefully it can touch yours too! When we feel totally blah and weary of this life, God is still God. He is still sitting on the throne. There is no end of his understanding and neither can we completely understand Him.
The sun comes back in a couple months, so chin up my friend!
Denver: Thanks for the encouraging comment. God Bless you.
Hey, guess what?
It's sunny out right now!! :) At least, here it is. I hope it is there, too.
Be rigth there.
sunshine
i have that exact same feeling out here in indiana. but when i was in MN, we had the beautiful sunshine everyday and after the third morning of seeing the sun i told mom that i should move back to MN where the sun shines and she said "and then we would have to hear you complain about how cold it is" very true.
one of my friends in MN wants me to buy a sun lamp so i dont get too depressed. we'll see!
the grey skies make you appreciate the sun when it comes...hopefully soon
