Cognitive Surplus

Clay Shirky answers the question "Where do people find the time" in regards to all the information people are flooding onto the internet. I thought it was really eye-opening. It's approximately 15 minutes long.

Enjoy.

Presumably, it's the people who don't have time to do stuff online asking "where do people find the [online] time". Given that, isn't a bit much to ask those people who have very limited online time to watch a 15 minute online video?

Nick: Who's asking? :-)

Umm....my mom.

(As I just watched it...obviously not me.)

Nick: HA! You said "my mom" That's a new twist. :-)

Thank you for the video, nothing like the web 2.0 conference.

For those of us who are still rural, agrarian, and don't drink gin or have television; where do we find the time?

Luke said...

Old Farmer: Yeah, that would be true.

I hate to say it, but the people you described are in a shrinking minority. :-)

These times they are a' changin'

Hey Luke, you can add me back on your list for 2 reasons:

1) Because Heather is still on your list and she never updates her blog anymore, either, AND

2) (the better reason) Because I'm going to start writing more often.
