I voted...

And now my stomach's kind of going around in circles.

My heart just aches for this country. The potential we have is so great. Our resources are such a force for whatever we choose to use them for. And today we select our leader.

Remember, as we discuss this election, the God calls us to pray for our leaders regardless of our views. God is the ultimate sovereign, and He is still seated on His throne. May our speech and our attitudes bring glory to God.

Do you think God could be testing out faith in Him, and our willingness to seek him in prayer, should the worse candidate wins?

i read something today sent to me by a friend. i was going to try and quote it but i can't say was he does so eloquently so i'll just do the whole copy and paste thing... "The positive factor coming out of this election is that I can predict with absolute certainty that the Dems will overreach in attempting to enact a far left agenda, further plummeting their already anemic congressional approval numbers. This coupled with a weak economy over the next 2 years gives the GOP a fantastic opportunity to redefine itself and re-brand the solid conservative ideals that have won national elections in previous decades. There are no more excuses for the Dems now as they will solidly control all 3 branches of power. They cannot blame Bush anymore, and the media will be forced to hold them accountable"

I found this to be a very well written and thought provoking article.
