We should pray for him that his world view could stay firmly grounded on the Word of God. I can only imagine the temptations that must come with his office.

You know, I saw this earlier today and had the exact same thought. Let's keep praying!! He's a talented man and will need as much prayerful support as he can get in his political position.

Luke, I know. I knew better than to demote you to a "blogging friend." I know excuses don't make things better, but I was in a hurry to get out the door and, well, just kinda threw the whole post together. You've now been promoted to "really cool friend who happens to blog".

And this summer...let's plan on a reunion. Really. If you guys come out to Gateway we can plan something for that weekend, or maybe it's our turn to head out your way. But let's definately get something on the calendar!
Vanessa: It's all good. :-) I will definitely keep a reunion in mind for this summer. It'll be the first summer since I've been married that my wife is done with nursing school and has a job during the summer though, so we're kind of playing it by ear.
