It's Raining

It looks like I may miss out on Simple Pleasure #2 tonight. :) It's been raining steadily for about an hour now.

On the bright side, it made me think of another simple pleasure - watching and listening to storms. I love the sound of rain.

The word rain is mentioned in 87 verses in the Bible. Many of those times it's speaking of the Lord giving rain. That's good to think about. Not even the weather is just a "random happening" - although it often seems like it. God is in control. He causeth it to rain on the just and the unjust.(Matthew 5:45)
