Ahhh Yes

Well, another awesome weekend in Bluffton here and gone. What a weekend. Lots of laughs, lots of good spiritual discussions, and a little work. I helped Vince paint some ceilings in his house. It's really coming along nicely. It shouldn't be too much longer now and us singles will have a "new ranch" to stay at when we road trip to Bluffton.

One of the most amusing parts of the weekend had to come when a sister, from the middle of the back seat leaning forward to the passenger seat, asked Vince "Do you want some of this Monster?" After a short pause everyone in the car about split a gut laughing. Wow...what a question... Yeah, there's more to the story. But it's better if I tell it in person. :) Reminds me of Chris' Fort Scott comment: "You wanna piece of this cupcake?. . . . . . . . .YOU'RE the Cupcake!"
Ahhh...good times.

Vince and I were up till 4:30 on Friday night talking 'bout life. Talking about church, about wisdom, about marriage, etc... We pretty much got it all figured out, so you can all be expecting world hunger to disappear and world peace to formulate within a week or so. Ok, so maybe not...but man...that would've made one productive night huh?

Next weekend is a road trip to KS. I'm excited about this! Vince, Ashley, Brooke, and maybe BLT will leave Bluffton between 12 and 2 (don't have the details ironed out yet) and pick me up. We don't have anything specific planned, just a weekend of relaxation and fellowship.

Well, I should probably get to work here on this beautiful sunny Monday morning.

I also want to say thanks again for taking time to pick us up, battle the Chicago traffic, and put up with us for 5 hours or however long it took to get to Bluffton. :) Have a great week, and I'll see ya this weekend, when you'll be blessed with our presence for even longer than 5 hours in a car!!!
